Easy wireless robotization of DC motor control!

The MC-8 is a multi-controller that can control 8 channels of devices using PWM signals, and is recommended for controlling RC cars, craft sets, robots, and other machines equipped with PWM servos and speed controllers, in combination with the MC-8 MR-8 receiver.

This set consists of the MC-8 transmitter and the MR-8 receiver.

Eight channels of control are available
In radio control, the channel is the number of operating parts that can be controlled at the same time. Conventional RC car transmitters typically have 2 to 4 channels, but the MC-8 can use up to 8 channels of CH-A to H simultaneously.

It is composed of 4 channels of analog operation by joystick and 4 channels of digital operation by switch. For the pulse width of each operation, refer to the instruction manual here.

Models that can be combined
【Speed Controller】

MD-1 (RC car specification)/MD-1 (neutral brake specification)
This speed controller can control brush motors from size 130 to size 370. In addition to the motor driver circuit, a microcomputer is mounted, so it can easily control forward, brake and reverse with the same PWM signal as the servo.

VFS-FR2 (products handled by KOPROPO)
This is a high spec speed controller that can control mainly 540 size brush motors, popular for RC cars, but can also be used for robots with 540 motors.

ESC on the market
ESC stands for Electric Speed Controller and refers to a device that controls the drive motor for RC cars. 3.6V to 6.6V ESCs for RC cars can be controlled. *1
[Servo]

KRS-3300, 3200 series By default, it is set to both serial and PWM mode, so it can be operated simply by connecting it to the MR-8 receiver.

PDS-2500 series (products handled by KOPROPO)
This is a low-cost servo for RC cars, which is available in Response type and Power type.

Commercially available servos
It can control servos for RC cars and hobby robots from 3.6V to 6.6V.* 1

*1 The pulse width of PWM may differ depending on the products of other companies. Also, it may not work properly due to special settings. It is recommended to use this product in combination with genuine Kondo Kagaku products.

Radio wave band
The MC-8 communicates with Kondo Kagaku's proprietary 2.4GHz MX-F. It is resistant to noise and can communicate stably even in a crowded event venue where it is relatively difficult to communicate. *2

When using the MC-8, please use it in combination with the MR-8 receiver.

*2 Communication may be affected depending on the radio wave coverage and the way the receiver is installed.

Power supply
The main body of the MC-8 transmitter is operated by four AAA batteries. Rechargeable AAA batteries are also available. (Batteries are sold separately.) The MR-8 receiver operates from a power supply of 3.0 V to 6.6 V. The receiver has a BAT terminal, which is used to supply power. Select the power supply according to the specifications of the servo or speed controller connected to the receiver.

 Dry battery: 4 pcs (6V)

 Rechargeable batteries: 4 pcs (4.8V)

 NiMH battery (NI-MH): 3 to 5 cells (3.6 to 6 V)

 Lithium ferrite battery (Li-Fe): 2 cells (6.6 V)

 Lithium polymer battery (Li-Po): 1 cell (3.7V)
